Bible stories about trusting God
Children learn to trust the way they learn everything else, by watching. They watch us wait for an answer, and they notice whether we wait afraid or wait steady. These stories are for the evenings when you want to show them, rather than tell them, what it looks like to trust God when you cannot yet see what He is doing.
Each one is short enough for bedtime, illustrated so a small child can follow the pictures, and read aloud so you can press play and listen together. Every story ends with what we learn and a prayer to say as a family.
“Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5
